Privacy Policy

Interleaved operates these tools to manage the band's own Instagram presence, @interleaved.music, and related fan interactions. This policy applies to information processed through those tools and to information you send us about those tools, including privacy and deletion requests.

This policy does not replace the privacy notices of Meta, Instagram, OpenAI, or other third-party services that handle information under their own terms and policies.

Depending on the permissions and features enabled, we may process:

• Band account and content information, such as profile or account identifiers, posts, captions, media, media identifiers, timestamps, and related content metadata.
• Fan interactions, such as comments and the associated username or account identifier, comment text, and timestamp.
• Inbound messages, such as a sender identifier or username, message content, timestamps, and the conversation context needed to understand and respond.
• Aggregate account, audience, post, and media insights made available by Meta or Instagram.
• Authorization and operational information, such as access tokens, granted permissions, app and account identifiers, request results, and technical metadata needed to connect, secure, and troubleshoot the tools.
• Information you provide with a privacy or deletion request, such as your username, interaction context, request details, and our communications with you.

We receive information from Meta and Instagram through their APIs, from activity involving Interleaved's account, and directly from you when you contact or interact with Interleaved.

• Manage Interleaved's social account and content.
• Review and respond to fan comments, messages, and inquiries.
• Understand content and account performance using aggregate insights.
• Generate AI-assisted summaries or draft responses. An Interleaved operator reviews drafts before deciding whether to use them.
• Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the internal workflow and comply with valid legal or platform requirements.
• Locate and act on verified privacy or deletion requests.

We disclose information only as reasonably needed for the uses described above, including to:

• Meta and Instagram, which provide the connected platform and APIs and may receive actions or content that we choose to send through them.
• OpenAI, which may process relevant content and context when an AI-assisted feature is used.
• Paperclip, the internal workflow system, which may retain task records, transcripts, tool results, and proposed content.
• Hosting, infrastructure, and security providers that support the tools and this website.
• Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or resolve disputes.

The integration broker is configured not to log request bodies. It may process identifiers in memory while completing a request. Access tokens and other authorization information are kept on the host, with access restricted to authorized operators and services that need them.

Records may persist in Paperclip task history, transcripts, tool results, proposals, and copies maintained by OpenAI or other providers according to their systems and operational requirements. The workflow does not currently have a single automatic, end-to-end deletion timer that covers every system and provider.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to manage fan interactions, operate and secure the tools, understand content performance, address disputes, and meet legal or platform obligations. We delete information when it is no longer needed for those purposes or when we complete a verified deletion request, unless retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

Because different records are stored in different systems and provider copies or backups may follow their own lifecycles, we do not apply one fixed retention period to every category of information.

You may ask us to locate and delete information associated with your interaction with Interleaved. Read the data deletion instructions, or email admin@interleavedmusic.com with the subject Interleaved Social deletion request.

Include your Instagram or Facebook username and enough interaction context for us to find the relevant records. Do not send a password, access token, or other account credential. We may request limited verification before acting on a request and will explain completion or any lawful or practical limitation.

A request to Interleaved covers copies controlled by Interleaved. It does not by itself delete your Meta or Instagram account, content, messages, or other information controlled by Meta. Use the privacy and account controls provided by Meta or Instagram for that information.

We may update this policy as the tools or our practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when they take effect.
